How the Temporary Crisis Fund Can Help
The Temporary Crisis Fund provides one-time financial assistance for urgent, short-term needs, including but not limited to:

How Is Assistance Provided?
When approved, funds are typically paid directly to a landlord, utility provider, medical provider, or other third party to address the urgent need. Assistance is not provided as cash.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must live within Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns’ service area, which includes Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

Do I Need To Pay This Back?
No. Assistance provided through the Temporary Crisis Fund does not need to be repaid.

This fund is intended to offer short-term relief during an unexpected emergency, not to create additional financial burden. Our goal is to help stabilize individuals and families during a difficult moment so they can move forward.

When Will I Hear Back?
Applications are reviewed as quickly as possible, typically within 2 business days. While timelines may vary depending on volume and urgency, urgent needs are prioritized whenever feasible.
