Help Habitat make the #CostOfHome something we all can afford.

Cost of Home

1 in 10 Wyoming families pay half or more of their income on a place to live, often choosing between paying for housing or nutritious food, reliable transportation or health care needs.

In 2019, Habitat affiliates across the globe launched our first advocacy campaign, Cost of Home. Together we are mobilizing volunteers, community members, and partners across the country to find solutions to solve the affordable housing crisis. Over the next five years we hope to advocate for policies that will grant access to affordable housing for 10 million individuals.

Affordable Home Pledge

I believe that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to call home. No family should have to sacrifice food, health, or education in order to afford shelter. 1 in 10 households in Wyoming are paying more than 50% of their income on housing.

I believe that home is the foundation to every family’s life. Home is where you learn, love, feel safe, experience unforgettable moments, and grow. Home builds futures for parents and their children. I pledge to promote strength, stability, and self-reliance for all by advocating for affordable housing.
