Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns serves those families and individuals that fall between 30 and 80 percent of the state’s median income. In a 2022 Sheridan County Housing Needs Assessment study, results showed that one in three households are cost burdened due to housing.

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns builds simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with a no interest loan.
