Sheridan College Construction Technology

Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) is a multi-campus community college serving Sheridan, Campbell, and Johnson Counties. NWCCD’s Construction Technology program at Sheridan College is designed to prepare you for real-world positions in the construction field. A successful and highly regarded program, the Construction Technology area provides the foundational knowledge and on-site training to join the workforce and become a leader. You will learn the skills of Construction Technology with courses such as carpentry, surveying, job estimation, building design and layout, and project scheduling—all taught by highly skilled and knowledgeable trades-people. As construction workers often work outside in a building environment, many classes will take place outside where you will receive hands-on training.

Construction technology professionals build, repair and renovate buildings and structures, as well as plan and coordinate construction activity.

Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns has a unique partnership with Sheridan College’s Construction Technology department. Since construction professionals work outside in a building environment, classes or labs take place on our worksite where students receive hands-on training.
