Open Thursday – Saturday 9 am – 4pm

ReStore sells reusable and surplus building materials to the public and uses the generated proceeds to fund the construction of Habitat homes. By using and re-using materials efficiently, Habitat is encouraging good stewardship of both Habitat’s resources and the earth’s resources. As a result, ReStore both supports resource efficiency and helps Habitat build more houses.

Three major points drive the business model of ReStore:

  • ReStore supplies the community with low-cost home improvement materials, providing a resource for affordable building supplies. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers and individuals, and are made available for sale to the public at 50 – 90 percent below retail prices.
  • ReStore financially supports the construction of Habitat homes. All the funds generated by Habitat’s ReStore directly offset construction costs for Habitat homes helping Habitat to continue its mission of building affordable houses, empowering families, and developing communities.
  • ReStore seeks to keep reusable building materials from going to the landfill. The environmental aspect of our business has been something that our volunteers and community have really rallied behind. Donation of materials to ReStore diverts them from the landfill and allows them to be reused and repurposed. ReStore helps the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials into use rather than sending them to the landfill.

We accept many different items.
